James and Travis have been doing really well and James fought exceptionally well. Travis boxed really well in his semi final but ran out of steam in the final, however, he has a lot of talent and a good future.
“Aine has been doing really well but unfortunately she didn’t get to fight as her opponent was a no show which was really disappointing. These young fighters need to get fights to help them develop. The same thing happened for Colin and James and I know all three of them were gutted not to get fighting.
“Win, lose or draw, taking part in championships like this is a great experience for them and that’s what is all about as it helps them progress and develop as young fighters.
