Friends’ pupils return from Irish Schools’ Athletics with medals
Bradley Mulholland finished 7th with a personal best performance in the Intermediate Boys 400m Hurdles.
Sarah Ferris who has raised the level of her distance running this year to new heights, finished 7th in the Intermediate Girls 800m having bravely led from the front for most of the race.

Hide AdShannon McCleery out performed all the other Ulster athletes to finish 4th in the Junior Girls Long Jump with a personal best jump.
Ben Greenhill just missed out on a medal finishing 4th in the Minor Boys Shot but then went one better with a podium place in the Long Jump when he finished 3rd to win bronze.
Josh Armstrong competed in the Intermediate High Jump but saved his best for the Triple Jump winning bronze with personal best jump.
James Edgar, favourite for the Intermediate 3000m title, kept the crowd in suspense until the last bend when he sprinted down the finishing straight to win gold.
