The winger has joined Dungannon Swifts after having his Showgrounds contract terminated by mutual consent.
Teggart had a year remaining on his contract but has been allowed to leave after citing travelling difficulties.

“I understand his decision and regretfully agreed to let him go.”
“It’s not an easy decision leaving a club you enjoy - and a decision that has no bearing on Ballymena as a football club,” said Teggart, who scored 29 goals in 160 appearances, after being signed by previous manager Roy Walker.
Teggart’s departure - along with the expected confirmation of goalkeeper Tim Allen’s exit - makes him the tenth player from last year’s squad to leave Ballymena this summer as Ferguson seeks to refresh his panel.
