Top marks for Courtney
Senior teacher at Rathfriland High, Mr D Barron, said: “Courtney was an extremely hard working pupil during her time spent there.
“She excelled at her four chosen courses, particularly Chilcare, gained very pleasing marks in each of her option choice classes and was recognised at the Banbridge Area and Learning Community Awards Ceremony in May 2015 by achieving the highest mark out of all of the Rathfriland High School pupils studying Occupational Studies.

“Her SRC lecturers were very complimentary towards her positive attitude and commitment and her willingness to complete tasks to the best of her ability.
“As a direct result of studying Childcare at SRC, Courtney has chosen to continue in this field and is presently on a 2 year Childcare course at Peoples First in Banbridge.
“Her caring nature and enthusiastic approach to life has extended into the wider community and her many voluntary commitments suggest her devotion towards working with young people is a passion of Courtney’s rather than a chore.
