Sympathy extended following road death
The 56-year-old, known locally as Gerry, was from Tobergill Gardens in Antrim and worked for Mivan.
It has emerged that Mr Kingsbury had been walking home from the Dunadry Hotel around 2.20am when he was struck by a taxi on the Belfast Road.

Hide AdLocal UUP Councillor Drew Ritchie said he was “saddened and shocked” by Mr Kingsbury’s death.
Cllr. Ritchie, who is secretary of Antrim and District Road Safety Committee, said the deepest sympathy was extended to Mr Kingsbury’s family and friends.
“I know the local community will help and support the family at this tragic time,” Cllr. Ritchie added.
SDLP South Antrim Councillor Roisin Lynch also expressed her sympathy following the news of Mr Kingsbury’s death.

Hide Ad“I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Mr Kingsbury’s family at this sad time,” Cllr. Lynch said.
Antrim police would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident, or noticed Mr Kingsbury walking along the road shortly before 2.30am.
