SLIDESHOW - a heartwarming ‘tail’ of Coastguard dog rescue
The Coastguard was alerted and Belfast operations room dispatched Ballycastle cliff rescue team and a team from Coleraine to see if the spaniel could be rescued from the cliff where it had managed to land on a cliff ledge.
It was totally cut off with no hope of any safe passage back until it was rescued by cliff technicians from HM Coastguard.
