Hide AdAlderman Danny O’Connor said he was glad to see the issue of skating facilities in Larne progressing. “We have been very vociferous in the past about getting a skateboarding area for young people in the borough, as they are currently paying a fortune travelling to facilities elsewhere. Youngsters need something to focus on and I welcome this move very much.”
Councillor Mark Dunn said NEELB had shown some “stickability” on the issue and added that he was pleased to see matter being taken forward.
