Pupils come togetherfor Plantation study
The event, hosted in Loreto College, saw approximately 440 Year 9 students from all three schools taking part in workshops on the Ulster Plantation led by The Armagh Heritage Centre.
Bob Murphy, Head of History at Loreto College, paid tribute to Mr Emmett Harkin, Shared Education Co-ordinator at Loreto, who organised the workshops, commenting that this had been an excellent opportunity for the students from all three schools to work together in learning about their shared history.

Hide AdMeanwhile, all Year 9 students at Loreto College Coleraine took part in an Employability programme entitled Explore Enterprise, delivered by Young Enterprise NI . The workshop was delivered by Gail Hamilton of Young Enterprise NI, and included an introduction to enterprising skills and qualities and learning about being an entrepreneur.
Pupils also heard about the success and endeavours of some local entrepreneurs, including Mr Purvis Campbell, who gave an enlightening talk.
