Dole queues dipping across the region
DOLE queues shortened in Londonderry in April with 7.6 per cent of the working age population now claiming benefits - still the highest rate in Northern Ireland. The amount of claimants dipped from 7.7 per cent of workers the previous month.
The amount of claimants also fell from 7 per cent to 6.9 per cent in Limavady and from 7.1 per cent to 7 per cent in Strabane.
The figures are detailed in the latest labour market report published by Trade Minister Arlene Foster.
