Hide AdAntrim Castle Gardens and Clotworthy House provided the perfect backdrop for this morning’s awards ceremony, led by environmental charity Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful, in association with Heyn Waste Solutions.
For the 2015/16 season, Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful saw a continued increase in public parks, country parks, cemeteries and green spaces meeting the demanding standards.
The awards are judged every year by green space experts, who volunteer their time to visit applicant sites and assess them against eight strict criteria, including horticultural standards, cleanliness, sustainability and community involvement.
