East Antrim to the Big Apple
Michael Stephenson, who took part in NYC16, said: “New York is amazing, this was my eight marathon – I ran six in the 1980s in my late teens and early 20s, then two this year, Belfast and NYC. And I have to say running through the Big Apple with its towering buildings, iconic bridges, busting streets and world famous landmarks was just fantastic.
“I felt very proud to be part of Team Action Cancer along with 18 other runners from Northern Ireland. Together we raised over £30,000 for the charity and the sense of achievement when we crossed the finish line in Central Park was incredible.”
