THE Flaming Lips and The Zutons are two of the headliners at Belfast's newest summer event, Belsonic.
The Flaming Lips (pictured above) make their first ever headline appearance in Northern Ireland, bringing their highly acclaimed live show to Belfast on Monday, August 11.

The Zutons - self-styled as “Liverpool's first great band of the 21st century” - top the bill at Custom House Square on Friday, August 15.

Taking place in the convenient urban setting of Belfast’s Custom House Square, Belsonic will be a series of very special one day events bringing the best in music to the heart of the city.

Each Belsonic show will be a multi artist presentation, with a festival feel, taking place in the old historic city centre alongside the vibrant Cathedral Quarter area.

Tickets for The Flaming Lips and full supporting bill on August 11 are £35 and The Zutons plus support on August 15 (£30) are on advance sale from www.belsonic.com or The Stiff Kitten (9023 8700). Tickets go on general sale this Friday from all Ticketmaster outlets.
