Teenage Reading Gang celebrates Dickens 2012

LIBRARIES NI continued to celebrate Dickens 2012 NI when BBC presenter Conor Bradford attended the April meeting of the Teenage Reading Gang in Lisburn City Library.

Dickens 2012 NI was established to organise a year-long festival of events celebrating the two hundredth birthday of Charles Dickens, undoubtedly one of the greatest novelists in our language.

Longevity

General discussion at the teens’ meeting was around the longevity of the classic novel highlighted in particular by the work of Charles Dickens.
