The band will be bringing the unmistakable sound of the Merseybeat to Banbridge with a free concert featuring classics covering the complete Beatles catalogue, from the early mop top era of I Wanna Hold Your Hand and She Loves You through the psychedelic period of Sgt Pepper right up to the final curtain call of Let it Be. The Classic Beatles, who originate from Co. Wicklow, have been captivating audiences with their note perfect renditions for the past 20 years. The highlight of their career was when they were invited by none other than the man they call the fifth-Beatle, producer Sir George Martin, to perform at the National Concert Hall, Dublin with a 72 piece Orchestra for three sell out shows with Sir George going as far as to say, “the vocal resemblance is uncanny”.
